J.J. as we call him, is a stud fee puppy we got from Clyde & Marilyn Vetter of

Sharp Shooters Kennels.  J.J. is The product from the mating of my male Blitz and Clyde's female Shelby.  We were looking for a balance of high intelligence,

desire, cooperation, trainability, and good looks.  Boy did he inherit it all !! 

In addition J.J. is a wonderful member of our family.

  J.J. was born steady to flush. At 10 wks. of age he was pointing quail, staying

put no matter how much kicking around.  J.J. was retrieving quail that were shot over his points with ease.  After being shown a couple of times J.J. was delivering

shot birds to hand.  J.J. is a very easy dog to work with, show me and I'll please

you attitude.  At 14mths. J.J. completed his NAVHDA Natural Ability test with

a Prize I  112 maximum score.  At 18 mths. J.J. won his International Champion ship with 3 V1's, 3 1st. places and a best of breed.  We are looking forward to more NAVHDA and AKC Hunt Tests with J.J., he has a bright future as hunting dog and test dog.

  J.J.'s linage is superb, being out of a NAVHDA Natural Ability award litter,

4 generations of Versatile Champions, 7 generations of NAVHDA Utility Dogs,    7 generations of AKC Master Hunter's and 6 generations of Show Champions.  We are looking forward to many fine years of Grouse hunting with this young dog.
