Our goal at Northwaters Kennels is to develop German Shorthaired Pointers that mature early and filled full of natural insticts. Northwater's pups are at home in the field as well in the water. Dogs aren't added to our breeding program until they have proven themselves in the grouse woods. Creating puppies that are hunting buddies as well family companions is a priority. Howie and Tammy believe testing programs like North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association and AKC Hunt Tests are exellent ways to help breeders evaluate each dogs inherent potential.
